This section discusses the options displayed on the General tab for a server profile.
This option specifies the name assigned to this server profile. Each server profile name must be unique and cannot contain the æ/Æ character (as this is used as a path delimiter).
This option specifies the host name or IP address of the server.
This option specifies the name for login authorization. If this is left blank, Programmer Studio will prompt for the user name when required.
This option specifies the password for login authorization.
When enabled, Programmer Studio will prompt for the user name and password to use when connecting to the server. The settings for Default User and Password are used as the default settings for the prompts.
This option determines which protocol, FTP or WTRSH, should be used to access files on the specified host.

This option determines if TELNET should be used to create a session on the server when executing commands, compiling or debugging. If this option is left blank, files cannot be compiled.
This option determines the character set to use to æmapÆ extended ASCII characters in text files. ISO-Latin-1 is identical to the Windows character set.
